Fire Door Surveyor - Long Term temporary role available based in the Exeter and wider Devon region

Your new company
You'll be working for one of the UKs largest property maintenance companies who are currently servicing a number of critical contracts across the wider Devon region. Your new company specialise in delivery of planned maintenance and capital works, painting and cyclical decorations and passive fire protection.

Your new role
As a Fire Door Surveyor you will play a key role in delivering a planned maintenance contract to a large county council in the region. Your role will involve the inspection of doors, including specific fire doors, before producing a report on condition and suitability in accordance to fire regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to have prior experience in fire safety and maintenance within either housing or commercial buildings, and be able to assess doors against recent fire legislation. Ideally you will have a background as either a Building Surveyor or a Clerk of Works, and will have previous fire compliance experience.

What you'll get in return

• In return you'll receive an initial contract with duration of up to six months, with an extension likely. You'll receive a competitive hourly rate of pay, dependent on experience and qualifications.
