Senior Planner - London - £80,000 + package
We are working with a top tier contractor supporting their search for a Senior Planner covering the London Region. You will be working on precon supporting tenders and project planning on a broad range of Build projects circa £50M, but with a focus on Healthcare & Science (Laboratories etc). In the Senior Planner role you will take responsibility for your own live projects and also assist and mentor other Planners running their own projects.
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning :-
- Establishing a fully Integrated Master Programme incorporating Design, Procurement and Construction activities.
- Developing detailed Integrated Target/Construction Programmes.
- Assist the project team with the development of logistics strategies.
- Progress monitoring & reporting.
- Work with the project team to identify potential opportunities for programme betterment and to identify potential delays so that mitigation strategies can be implemented.
- Delay analysis.
Precon/Tender Planning :-
- Developing a fully integrated Tender Programme.
- Developing methodology & logistics proposals.
- Analysis of key plant and access requirements.
- Attending client interviews.
- Working with the tender team to deliver an innovative and 'winning' bid.
You will have:
A construction related academic qualification (BSc, HNC/D etc.)
Significant experience using ASTA Powerproject.
Experience working with both NEC and JCT forms of contract - and ideally P22 framework.
