Electrical Service Technician job in Manchester (Spanish speaking) £26k - £36k+ company car.

Hays Engineering are pleased to be assisting a global employer in the recruitment of a Electrical Service Technician based in Manchester. You will be working for an international company who have over 2700 staff globally. They design, manufacture and install renewable energy products. They also service and maintain the products as well. Main USP for the company is a strong focus on renewable energy. They are very passionate about it and focus on making a positive impact on the world.


Your new role
You will be involved in the start-up and commissioning of solar inverters in customer´s solar plants, diagnose and repair faulted inverters on field, complete and turn in field reports that capture time and work completed on site as well as proactively identify potential technical issues and suggest corrective actions.

You will also provide diagnostic analysis, repair and preventative maintenance to customers, be responsible for physical installations such as connections and wiring as well as complete on-site system audits and evaluations
You will travel between solar farms. Your line manager will send you a schedule of site and you will manage your own diary and work from home when not on site.



What you'll need to succeed
-Driving license
-Electrical qualifications
-Must be fluent in Spanish as you will need to communicate with people in head office.
- Must have experience working in the renewables sector in a similar role


What you'll get in return
There is training and progression available, £26,000 - £36,000 plus company car benefits package. Working from home.
