The Aberdeen office at Hays are looking to appoint someone with a proven track record in the recruitment sector to the position of Professional Services Recruitment Consultant. Your new job in Hays
Due to a period of growth in our Aberdeen office, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an established team to help us continue to build the business, focusing on the Professional Services sector. Some key aspects of the role will include pro-actively generating leads and converting to sales, working closely with colleagues to identify & source sales leads, identifying opportunities to make recommendations that promote company approved products and techniques, presenting at external meetings representing the Hays brand, working to an agreed market development strategy and developing new and existing business using effective, appropriate and ethical sales methods. Ultimately you will work to exceed targets set to generate and fill vacancies in the Professional Services space across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Hays Specialist Recruitment was established 52 years ago and since then has continued to grow, developing our expertise and market presence in specific key disciplines. Our existing staff in our Aberdeen have a length of service ranging from 1 to 12 years, and covers Professional Services and Construction. As a business we invest heavily in adding value to all areas of employment and staffing, demonstrated across the last few months with the creation of our Thrive, Boost and Employee engagement hubs. This provides our consultants with a huge competitive advantage being able to approach customers as true experts in the field of recruitment and engagement. As a wider team, Hays Scotland are a competitive group, having won the last UK wide National competition we have our sights set on the next! After relocating all 2000 of our staff to a remote based system back in March, we remain of course working remotely at present, however when we are able to make a phased return to the office at some point in the future, the Aberdeen office location is right in the heart of the city overlooking the newly developed Union Terrace Gardens.
What you'll need to succeed with us
You will have recruitment experience from an agency environment, be confident in the development of new business, both targeting new clients & nurturing existing warm Hays relationships and able to display that you are adept at dealing with a diverse portfolio of clients. Core competencies will include the ability to build and solidify lasting relationships, deliver exceptional customer service, have a results-driven approach and a genuine passion for evolving your knowledge of advancement in recruitment techniques The successful applicant will likely have a proven track record of delivering consistent new business and growing existing, and be able to demonstrate effective selling and presentation techniques to influence the customer.
