Your new role
Assistant /Quantity Surveyor - Home working - Induction in either Leicester or Northampton Office
You will need to have excellent IT skills, lots of appetite for small detail and a preparedness to be thorough are essential. Past experience of using costing system would be ideal.
1. Receive and analysis all sub contract invoices, recommend authorisation or raise query
2. Gather all Monthly Material spend from PFH account and all invoices sent to DLO Invoices, and then reconcile;
a. To the reporting period,
b. To Oracle Accounts (to flag the gaps,)
c. Clean data up into CSV with job numbers (very time consuming)
d. Load onto system
3. Once Materials loaded, then checking for accuracy of Schedule of rates recorded and adding Variation Order
* Circa 30 Voids
* Circa 500 Day to Day jobs
What you'll need to succeed
It's is ideal if you have experience in working on smaller projects in high volume. Attention to detail is crucial as this is not for profit and every £ counts. If you have worked either within local gov, Housing association or maintenance contractor that would be preferable. This is heavily administration based so would suit an assistant level QS.
What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. This is working from home and ideally an induction will take place in either office but this is not essential . They will provide laptop if necessary.
