Permanent Project Manager job, Housing new build, Private sale, Nottinghamshire, Up to £50k + Package
Your new company
You will be working for a well known privately owned contractor that have works in commercial, restoration and house building sectors. The company have a strong pipeline of work within the residential new build sector and are now seeking a specialist Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the Operational Director and overseeing the build of residential units across the East Midlands. You will prepare Health & Safety plan and secure approval and ensure a programme is prepared and issued for each job. You will also need to update the programme where applicable. In this position it is key to co-ordinate Quantity Surveyors and Site Managers throughout the project. You will also present written contractors' progress reports to the client / design team. Above all you will need to make sure the project is handed over on time to a high standard. The projects will be medium to large unit developments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have substantial new build housing experience as a Project Manager. You will hold a CSCS, SMSTS and Health and Safety Qualification alongside a UK Driving license. The role involves working collaboratively with clients, with this in mind strong interpersonal skills are essential.
