Estimator (Part-Time 3 days per week)

Permanent Estimator role (Part time 3 days pwk) , Derby based contractor, new build and refurbishment works

Your new company
You will be working for a Derbyshire based contractor who work across the East Midlands on projects up to the value of £5m. They complete works in the public and private sector including both commercial and residential projects. This organisation is a family owned business and they are seeking a candidate Estimating experience to join them on a 3 day a week basis.

Your new role
You would predominantly based in the Derbyshire office reporting into the Commercial Manager. You would be responsible for measurements / re measurements, take off's, responding to tender enquiries, liaising with both subcontractor resource and direct labour alongside negotiating material prices. Additionally you will be involved with the budgeting, cost reporting and variations as required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will have project experience including; Industrial, Residential and Maintenance. You will have strong IT literacy skills and be willing to travel to site as required. A full UK driving license is required.

What you'll get in return
The salary on offer will range between £25k and £35k (Pro rata) dependant on previous experience in the Estimating capacity. As this is a family owned company a dynamic individual who is willing to suggest changes to process as they find them is welcomed.
