Mechanical Estimator - Building Services (HVAC) £40-60k + Benefits Package - Northampton
A Northampton based M&E Contractor are looking to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to join their estimating department. The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, cost plans, attending mid and post tender meetings and post tender control.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, including Education, Commercial, Health, Pharmaceutical and Industrial projects with values ranging from !3million - £40milllion.
Experience Required
- Tendering for multimillion£ projects (mechanical services / HVAC)
- Excellent technical knowledge of all aspects of mechanical building services.
- Wide supplier and sub-contractor knowledge.
- Understanding of associated electrical services.
- Flexible in approach to deadlines.
- Computer literate with experience of "Estimation" software.
- Creating and Issuing tender documents
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2-3 years in a similar role
- HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering / Building Services (Desirable)
- Experience tendering for a wide range of projects across multiple sectors
- Experience on high values projects £1million+
- Design experience beneficial
