Your new company
Our client is seeking an experienced repairs surveyor to join them permanently. With an established team of surveyors, you will be working closely with internal colleagues including the trades team as well as external contractors and tenants.

Your new role
You will be working on their housing stock and sheltered schemes, carrying out technical surveying of any disrepair, requests to alter homes, insurance claims etc. Reporting back to the in house labour team and external contractors on what action is to be taken. You will be tasked with preparing specifications for works if required.

What you'll need to succeed
A strong technical background is required within Housing repairs (not necessarily social housing), including damp / mould issues. You will have a clear understanding of the nation schedule of rates (NSR) , pricing methods and how to obtain quotes and tenders. Your communication skills will be brilliant and you will be able to liaise with tenants in any situation.
