Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for you as an experienced Principal/Associate Civil Engineer to join as a Team Leader based in the Nottingham office. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Transport and Infrastructure Design (Development) team
- Management, financial performance and technical production on T&I Design projects or the T&I components of multi-disciplinary projects
- Client and team management in the provision of proposals, project planning, management of resources, reporting and financial performance
- A collaborative approach to working with the Building Structures Team will be required
There is much scope for this role to develop and grow as the company itself grows.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to demonstrate civil engineering design experience at a senior level. You are an excellent communicator, both written and oral, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different circumstances. You have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels both internally and externally. You are a 'self-starter' with drive, positivity and enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed. You are commercially aware with effective influencing and negotiating skills, as well as an aptitude to develop your own Client base.
