Permanent Contracts Manager - Hi spec housing new build - Nottinghamshire

Your new company
You will be working for the contracting arm of a successful design consultancy who have branched into the construction of new build residential projects. The role will involve working closely with the Director to drive the business and oversee the operational delivery of the initially secured projects.

Your new role
You will be working closely with the Director of the company to on high spec developments and accommodation projects. You will oversee the on site construction team in delivering the works to the contractual specifications. You will ensure all site documentation is kept up to date and works are in line with building regulations. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will assume responsibility for driving the project to completion whilst building relationships with other prospective clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a main contracting background, however you will have also a strong entrepreneurial background. The successful candidate may have previously ran their own business or have involvement at a senior level in construction Contractor. Construction related academic qualifications at HND / Degree level of higher would be beneficial.
