Head of Property Asset Management

This property focused fund are looking to appoint a Head of Property Asset Management. As part of the leadership team, you will work towards delivering the strategic asset management plan, across a portfolio of social and affordable housing properties. You will manage a fast growing team covering stakeholder relationships, property visits, property administration/operations and asset management. In addition you will; 
 

- Build out the team over the next 5 years to help the Fund deliver on its social and affordable housing strategy
- Liaise with the investment team on new opportunities
- Work with the legal team on asset management strategies/decisions
- Ensure statutory obligations and regulatory requirements are met either through the services provided in-house or through external suppliers.
- Working with the Investment team on valuations and debt - providing all relevant portfolio/asset data and market information
- Seek to optimise asset value and lead on proactive engagement relative to lease events
- Lead on asset management recommendations for capex expenditure on assets

 
Preference is for candidates with residential/social housing sector experience and a proven asset management track record. In addition you will have; 
 

- Real estate asset management experience essential. RICS qualified
- Strong character with confidence.
- Methodical in reporting, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to present information clearly in writing and verbally.
- 10 to 15 years post-graduation experience
- Comfortable working with financial models and investment appraisal techniques
- Desire to work in a collegiate environment
- Experienced manager of people
