Legal Counsel and Company Secretary

A rare and exciting opportunity to join a London based, family owned property company as their legal and company secretary. The property company have remained a trusted and stable mixed sector landlord since 1925, with an ever-growing high quality property portfolio.

The Role
- General corporate governance and company compliance across all relevant areas of the business
- In-house legal (including company law, corporate policies, property, contracts, employment and date protection)
- Providing a full company secretarial service to the company and subsidiaries
- Providing support to the senior executive team and the board of directors
- Administering, attending and minuting board and company meetings
- Key contact for external contacts including legal advisers, funders and auditors
- Staff management

Desired
- Legally qualified, preferably in property law or company and corporate governance
- With well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Organised, methodical, flexible and with attention to detail
- Able to manage staff effectively
