Your new company
A long established Kent based main contractor working across healthcare, education, commercial and mixed-use schemes. With a strong order book and over 10 current live schemes they now seek an experienced contract manager to help support a new framework of projects recently awarded. The new projects are healthcare orientated, a mix of both new build, refurb and conversion schemes across the Kent area. values between £1 - 3 mill. The first of the new schemes are due on site within 4 to 6 weeks.
Your new role
You will work as one of 4 contracts managers reporting to the Construction Director. You will be overall leaf for a new team responsible for delivering 3-4 projects at a time totalling approx £6 mill. You will manage any contractual issues, be the main liaison between the client, site teams and office, provide detailed reporting on site progress and Costings to the directors and carry out regular site visits to support the site management teams and ensure the sites are running as smoothly as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Contracts manager with clear evidence of working in a similar capacity for a Main contractor, ideally delivering a mix of commercial projects, you will be fully computer literate, be base din or close to Kent and be looking for a long term role.
