Sustainability Consultant Job, Building Services Consultancy - London (Contract)
Your new company
This built environment consultancy specialises in sustainability and building services design. Their team of 50 in central London works on a diverse range of projects from residential blocks to large community master-plans, refurbishment of offices and design of major new-build workplaces, technical facilities such as labs and pharma facilities, and more. They have a creative and supportive culture and a wide range of experience and personalities. Their new office space in the heart of London has been designed with flexibility and agile working in mind, with spaces to focus, collaborate, and socialise all catered for. Following a busy 2020, and continued new projects wins in early 2021, they are planning a significant expansion of the sustainability team.
Your new role
You will join a small team of sustainability experts, headed by an experienced director. Hitting the ground running you will be picking up on the design of several live projects. You will undertake BREEAM and WELL assessments, focusing on commercial, refurb fit-out and new build projects. You will participate in design meetings, and client meetings. You will collaborate with your team to ensure sustainability targets are achieved on London's latest projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced sustainability consultant, ideally with over 2 years experience with a built environment consultant. It is essential you have experience with BREEAM standards, BREEAM Assessments, Well AP and ideally, are a Fitwell Ambassador. You will primarily be focusing on commercial and refurb fit-out so prior experience in this area is preferable.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, with the possibility to go permanent if that is your preference. This role is remote for the immediate and will continue to offer the remote option for the duration of the contract.
