Your new company
Based in Northwest London this public sector organisation are looking for a Covid Response Project Manager to join their Covid Emergency Response Team, initially on a 6 month rolling contract basis.
This is a new team has been created specifically to manage the organisation's Covid strategy and to formulate plans on how to manage all aspects of their Covid response. This includes test site identification, rolling out the testing programme, data analysis, tracking cases and many other Covid related responsibilities.

You will be working from home but there will be the occasional site visits due to the nature of the job.

Your new role
The organisation has a pivotal role to play in detecting, containing and preventing the spread of Covid-19 within the local area by providing targeted testing of symptomatic and asymptomatic residents and key workers. In addition to their mobile testing unit and local testing sites the organisation are currently launching some pilots and developing the strategy for rolling out community testing to up to 10% of residents and are looking for an experienced project manager to help implement this project.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you must have excellent project management skills and be able to demonstrate your experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders and partners. You will need to have experience of working with community groups and have an understanding of governance processes. It is highly desirable that you have experience of working in the public sector either in a local or central government environment.

If you have a background in Policy, HR, Change Management, Emergency Response Management it will enhance your application. You will need to be highly organised and be ready to handle unique and challenging situations.
