Permanent Civils Estimator job, Nottinghamshire, Competitive Salary / Package, Urgent requirement
Your new company
You will be working for a Nottinghamshire based contractor as they carry out works across the East Midlands. The company undertake a range of Civils and Infrastructure projects and have a strong pipeline of work in 2021. As such they are looking to continue to grow their Estimating team with a permanent Civils Estimator.
Your new role
You will be working on Civils Projects including, Roads / Highways, Kerbing and Drainage. You will be obtaining tenders and material costs. You will be responsible for winning work and developing client relationships. You will prepare cost sheets for materials, labour and plant. You will take the lead on preparation of prelim and general expense pricing and risk assessments. You will also source suitable sub-contractors and specialists projects and liaise with operational and commercial functions to allow them to deliver the project effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have a strong understanding of the Civils / Highways sector including pricing and Estimating in the past. You will be organised and analytically minded with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Ideally you will hold an academic qualification in a Civils or construction based discipline. You will have a full UK driving license.
