Building Surveyor - East Devon Region

Long-term interim opportunity for a Building Surveyor with commercial property experience - East Devon - £25

Your new company
As a Building Surveyor you will be joining a property and facilities department who are responsible for delivering a planned and reactive maintenance operation for a diverse property portfolio located across the East Devon region.

Your new role
You will join as an experienced Building Surveyor in a role which will involve both the delivery of minor-works projects as well as assistance with day to day maintenance projects. Your role will involve initially undertaking feasibility, design and tender phases of projects before delivering work on-site, supervising the appointed contractor. As a Building Surveyor you will also assist with provision of inspections to identify property defects and make recommendation on repairs when required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have experience working as a Building Surveyor within a commercial property environment, ideally working on the client-side previously. It would be helpful if you have experience in delivering a wide range of minor works projects, including commercial property refurbishments, alterations, extensions or re-fits.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial interim contract alongside an hourly rate of £25 per hour (premium / umbrella). Your initial contract is likely to extend past initial minimum duration.
