Project Manager (Construction) - Torpoint and North Cornwall

PROJECT MANAGER - FTC 15 MONTHS - TORPOINT, PLYMOUTH AND CORNWALL - £42,000 + COMPANY CAR

Your new company
As a construction and civils Project Manager you will join a technical consultancy who are responsible for the delivery of maintenance and capital project operations for MOD and other high profile public sector clients across the UK.

Your new role
You will take ownership of the delivery of an initial six projects, mostly located on MOD and military bases in the Torpoint and Cornwall region. You will oversee compliant and effective delivery of projects in accordance with health & safety and statutory undertakings. Your role as a PM will involve monitoring supply chain service delivery, review of risk assessments, and ensuring work plans and budgets are in place. The combined project value equates to around £5 million, and includes ground works, re-roofing, refurbishments and building alterations.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have experience in the delivery of capital projects either on the client-side or with contractors working in critical environments. You'll need to have prior experience managing multiple projects on multiple sites, and be able to manage all aspects of project delivery from inception to completion.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial fixed term contract of 15 months in duration, which is likely to either extend of become permanent. You'll receive a company car and a basic salary of £42,000.
