Principal Construction and Projects Surveyor

The Borough of Rushmoor has an exciting future with an ambitious programme of investment and development planned which will see more than £300 million injected into regeneration over the next decade.

As Principal Construction and Projects Surveyor, you will join a multi-disciplinary service responsible for delivery of major corporate investment and regeneration projects and initiatives within the Council and as part of Joint Ventures.  The Service is also responsible for the management, maintenance and repair of the existing estate and the provision of technical services to the Council.

You will lead on and manage through consultants, construction and building repair projects - carrying out or overseeing the full spectrum of work during project development, procurement, pre-construction, construction and post completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of work that will contribute to the Council’s Regeneration, Major Projects and Property programmes.

You will demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience of delivering complex development projects, able to work collaboratively across the organisation and with development partners. You will ideally have experience across a range of workplace environments, preferably in both the Public and Private sector. You will be commercially focused and able to understand how to balance the different demands of project delivery in a local government setting.
