The Category Manager is one of three new roles created to support our ambitions and deliver transformational change for the business.

Your new role

As a Category Manager at Scape, you will proactively manage the compliance and performance of the framework partners in Scotland, driving their adherence to procedures and achievement of performance targets and framework volumes. You will be overseeing and supporting their active and developing project and services pipelines across all sectors to maximise financial returns and outcomes for communities .It will be your responsibility to complement the role of the Relationship Manager in Scotland, by supporting the management of relationships with new and existing clients.


What you'll need to succeed

A strong commercial acumen is essential for the role ideally combined with a background in a construction related environment. You will have experience of framework management as well as management of multi-million-pound projects. It is essential that you have a working knowledge of NEC commercial construction contracts and a good understanding of performance measures as a tool to drive improvements. You will have previous experience of influencing key decision makers, managing customer expectations to a high standard and will ideally have knowledge of the Scottish market.
