Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services - Leicester - £40-50k + bonus

A Leicestershire based Building Services contractor are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their small design department. They deliver M&E install projects to clients serving the commercial and industrial sectors.

Your new role

You will be joining a small Electrical Design team within a building services contractor. As Electrical Design Engineer you will manage your own design projects from initial client brief to handing over to the site team for install. You will support the onsite team throughout this phase and provide technical expertise where necessary. You will be responsible for the design of electrical services for a wide range of building types in the commercial and industrial sectors. Client requirements are a mixture of 2D and 3D designs, therefore you must be up to date with the latest software (Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux/Dialux) and be comfortable delivering BIM projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
• Experience working on BIM projects using Revit software
• AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux/Dialux software required
• Strong project background across a multitude of sectors
• Client facing and strong communication skills
