Hays are proud to partner Mitton Electronet, a New Zealand owned and operated electrical engineering consultancy with branches in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington. They provide design and project management services to the power industry and have done so for over 25 years

Positions Available
The power industry in New Zealand is as busy as ever and there is a large demand for experienced Electrical design engineers. We have a number of vacancies from Intermediate up to Principal level and this allows a degree of flexibility to tailor positions to the skills available however ideally we seek:

• Protection and Secondary Design Engineers
• Test Engineers
• Generation Engineers
• Power Systems Modelling and Analysis Engineer

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have the right to live and work in New Zealand and you will be degree qualified, in addition to having experience in the following areas:

• Primary and Secondary Substation Design
• Power System Modelling and Analysis
• Use of standard industry tools such as ETAP, PSS/E and DIgSILENT Powerfactory
• Design consultancy experience
• The ability to manage your own workload and projects and to liaise with clients
