Your new company

I am currently working with a regional Refurbishment and Fit-out contractor who are looking to expand their commercial team with an Estimator.

Operating for over 3 decades, my client undertakes a myriad of refurbishment and fit-out projects across all market sectors throughout the UK. With an in-house design development facility and integrated Mechanical and Electrical packages, my client can support many contracts enabling the designers concept to be reflected right through to handover of the finished project.

Your new role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for:

• Analysing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs
• Researching, sourcing and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Analysing data that can affect costs
• Visiting project sites to gather information
• Assessing the financial, technical and operational risks of the project
• Keeping detailed records and writing reports
• Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will need to represent the following competencies:

• Previous experience as an Estimator
• Substantial project experience within the Refurbishment and Fit-out sector
• Professional qualification in an industry-related subject
• Attention to detail
• A methodical approach to work
• UK Driving License

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience. Alongside this, you will receive a generous package which includes holiday entitlement and pension contribution.
