MECHANICAL ENGINEER WITH DESIGN EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO ASSIST WITH REFURBISHMENT & EXTENSION CONSTRUCTION

Your new company
Joining on a contract basis initially, you will work for one of Devon's leading providers of construction delivery, design and property services, delivering a wide range of property services for local authorities, central government and other public sector bodies.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will join an expanding team who are responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of building and engineering projects. In particular you will become a part of a project team who are responsible for delivering a £3.5million school refurbishment and extension. You will assist mainly across the design phases of the project, including building control systems, energy supply, heating and ventilation and water drainage & plumbing.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have a building services background, ideally involved previously in the delivery of construction refurbishments, alterations and extensions. You will need to have chartered membership of CIBSE or similar.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an initial contract with duration of up to six months, which is highly likely to extend beyond this point. You'll also receive a competitive rate of pay dependent on experience - outside scope of IR35.
