Your new company
Based in North London this public sector organisation is currently looking to recruit a Clerk of Works to join their existing Capital Works Delivery team. The team manages projects ranging from small works to multi-million-pound refurbishments primarily to their commercial buildings. Offices are based close to local bus and train stations making this a very commutable location.
Working from home whenever possible is currently being encouraged.

Your new role
As the successful candidate it will be your job to carry out site visits and inspections of project sites to ensure contractors are meeting specifications and standards (including health & safety practices) agreed in the brief, recording the evidence and outcomes of such activities for future reference.
Most of the projects are maintenance/refurbishment of existing commercial and corporate properties, the team manages commercial buildings within the North London area.
You will provide expert advice on all building related issues on site to ensure projects are managed according to specification and delivered on time and budget.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you must have a relevant qualification in the building industry or have extensive experience of being a Clerk of Works within construction.
You will need to have good communication skills with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
