Bid Manager (Construction)

Bid Manager - Main contractor (Residential, Health, Edu circa £6m) - £60,000 + package


Our client is a national top tier main contractor with well-established business's across the UK and a need for Bid Manager to be based from London. As a Bid Manager joining the Precon/Bid team you'll have a focus on Residential and Occupied buildings including cladding remediation and capital projects within Social Housing with values of £1-10m on a national basis, but may also support a broader cross section of projects from refurb to new build, including; Health, Education, Retail and Commercial sectors. Projects undertaken range from the design and delivery of complex refurbishment and new build projects, through to small regional projects for valued customers.

As Bid Manager working predominately on Residential and Occupied buildings, but also potentially a broader and diverse portfolio of projects, you'll have a passion for the project at hand and securing work supported by a good and healthy team environment. We understand this approach is essential to ensure we consistently win work and secure repeat business.

You will:
Be key to planned and sustained business growth through the production of client focused bid proposals within our core markets across the UK.
Lead and own the tender management process and working collaboratively within or pre-construction and operational teams.
Be an integral member of the team, coordinating and managing the production of high-quality bid submissions from initial expression of interest through to final submission taking ownership of the process and content.
Ensure the management and production of tender submission, whilst attending pre-tender and post tender interviews.

You will have:
a Degree and or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable experience of developing winning proposals.
a proven ability to produce high quality written tenders a sound understanding of the social housing sector.
