Head of Estates & Procurement

Bourne Education Trust is currently recruiting for the newly created position of Head of Estates & Procurement.

The successful applicant will be joining the Trust at a very exciting time. Currently made up of sixteen schools, across both primary and secondary phases, BET continues to grow a community of high performing academies with the highest aspiration and dedication to achieving the best outcomes for their learners.

BET is a fast moving and exciting place to work with every school within our Trust free to shape their individual character. Our brilliant teachers, support staff and leaders share a commitment to providing a first-class education to the children within their schools and as a Trust we strive to ensure that our provision enables every child to fulfil their potential.

The Head of Estates & Procurement will play a key role in supporting BET’s senior executives to provide an effective, compliant and professional procurement and estates management service to the Trust and its constituent schools. They will proactively plan and manage all procurement activity, lead the Trust-wide and individual academies’ estates plans and in conjunction with the Trust’s health and safety consultants, be responsible for guiding schools through all aspects of health and safety.

This is an ideal post for a highly experienced, strategic and customer focussed individual who is ambitious and looking for a post that could act as a springboard to more senior opportunities in a growing multi-academy trust whilst offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of the young people within our schools.
