Project Manager - client side (Construction), 3-6 months, public sector estate, Cardiff.
Your new organisation
Your new organisation are a public sector estate based in Cardiff, due to ongoing in-house projects they are seeking a client side project manager to oversee construction/FM/Security projects within the estates department.
Your new role
As a client side Project Manager you will be given responsibility of projects from inception to completion.
- Asbestos removal programme throughout the site
- Traffic and road reconfiguration entering the site
- Replacement of CCTV access control
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of client-side project management in a construction environment.
A relevant construction/project management qualification
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary external contractors/consultants and internal stakeholder relationships. The ability to pro-actively update the parties involved in the project and manage the process from inception to successful completion inline with budgets.
Ability to work independently, experienced enough to 'pick up the projects and run with them'.
What you'll get in return
You will be set up with the necessary IT equipment to work remotely as well as from site where necessary to oversee projects.
You will be paid weekly via Hays on an hourly rate of £25.00 per hour, circa 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Estimated length of contract is 3-6 months.
