Pre-construction manager required for leading national civils contractor

Your new company
Hays is currently representing a national contractor experiencing huge business growth that operates in the civils, infrastructure and highways sectors. Due to this significant increase in work volumes, they are now in need of a pre-construction manager to join the business within the South West region, looking after design, planning and resourcing aspects for a range of highways, resurfacing and traffic management projects across Devon and Somerset.

Your new role
You will be employed as a pre-construction manager new projects across the South West, with responsibility for carrying out the pre-construction plans, designs and drawings, phased planning, securing planning approvals and considering environmental factors prior to any project starting. Following this, you would then handle design coordination for the build works of the projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a civils management background, be self sufficient, organised and diligent with excellent communication skills. You'll be able to deliver excellent service to clients and be able to communicate and convey complex design/planning elements to them in an understandable way.
