M&E Manager required for leading Main Contractor on the South Coast


My client are one of the leading Main Contractors in the UK, they have a wide portfolio of work with projects for commercial, education, industrial, health & science, leisure, residential, MOJ, MOD, aviation and more. Due to increase in workload they are looking to recruit a M&E Manager.

As a M&E Manager with their Southern team, in Sussex, you will be responsible for the following:

• The technical compliance of M&E tenders throughout the tender bid process as allocated
• Assist with the selection of sub-contractors to tender from the supply chain
• Review the M&E tender to agree the bid strategy
• Attend the handover meeting & pass the M&E file to the construction teams and surveyors
• To lead, manage and motivate the project's external consultants to establish their full commercial contribution to the organisation
• Review the performance of the M&E sub contractors to assess their suitability to remain on the supply chain
• Assist with the management of the commissioning process and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals

To be considered for the role you will need to be qualified to an NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE, experienced within the construction industry, computer literate and good at communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
