With continued growth year on year and the retention of key clients, your new company are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the growing Brighton team.

Your new role
Your new role as the Quantity surveyor will see you work on projects ranging from £5m - £30m in value for both private and public clients, large schemes with new build developments, refurbishments and extensions. Working on 1-2 or 5-6 smaller projects at any one time, you will be working closely with the client to provide advice on the current projects and agree final accounts once the project is complete.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will have 5+ years quantity surveying experience, proven preparation of high quality tender documents and budget management. Amongst this you should have experience managing large scale contracts with a keen eye for detail. Developing extensive contacts, you will be Chartered and able to work as a team player.

Other duties will include:

• Prepare High quality tender documents
• Report on Risk management
• Tendering, cost breakdowns and negotiate contract bills
• Budget management
