Disrepair Surveyor

Your new company
You will be working within the housing disrepair team, within a national surveying practice, who work nationally on compiling expert witness reports for legal claims against landlords for disrepair in their properties. The practice is engaged by several the largest Solicitors practices in this market and are aiming to grow rapidly in the next 12 months.

Your new role
The role will be to work on and handle a portfolio of Property Disrepair claims for claims made by tenants, against their landlords. You will be given a list of properties to survey and report on in line with Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenants Act. You will only be required to go out to survey properties, the rest of the time will be WFH and reports have a 10-day turnaround time. You will be surveying between 5-10 properties per week.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be able to do the reports, you will need hold MRICS and have proven experience of surveying disrepair claims in line with Section 11 of the L&T Act.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid per survey completed in line with the required standards at a rate of £200 per survey with an expectation of 10 surveys per week, you will also receive compensation for abortive surveys and surveys that aren't fully completed - these will be at rates TBC.
