Your new company
Based in North London this public-sector organisation is currently looking to recruit a Housing Capital Works Project Manager to join their Housing team to deliver Capital Works Projects ranging from small scale maintenance projects to multi-million estate regeneration programmes.
The organisations offices are based in a very commutable location with excellent transport links for both buses and trains. A local shopping centre a short walk from the office and a wealth of restaurants specialising in foods from all over the world, making this a very vibrant place to work.
The organisation is currently working from home with minimal office-based interactions.

Your new role
To manage and deliver capital works projects within the organisations housing stock. As the successful Project Manager, you will manage multiple work streams delivering housing maintenance programmes ranging from single dwelling homes to larger housing estates within the local areas.
This particular job will be focusing more on the larger housing estates, delivering major improvement works which will enhance the quality of life for local residents and the local community in general. You will be responsible for managing external and internal staff, liaising with resident associations and other internal and external stakeholders.
You will also manage contractors to ensure project deadlines and budgetary targets are met.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have experience of delivering major capital works projects. You will need to demonstrate your knowledge of managing building projects and delivering on time and budget.
You will need to have experience of managing large scale maintenance or refurbishment programmes, ideally within the housing sector.
