Your new company
Your new company are an established LLP with several offices in the Surrey and South East region of the country. With a strong commercial property background this group has developed a reputable multi-disciplinary property business consisting predominantly of management, agency and valuation, serving clients throughout Surrey and surrounding areas such as North Hampshire, Sussex and Berkshire, dealing with office, retail, warehouse and industrial properties and a range of clients from private landlords to public sector clients and HNW individuals.

Your new role
Your new role will be to focus on valuations for commercial and mixed-use portfolios predominantly for the business' management clients but also on a range of external instructions.

You will be responsible for a carrying out a range of valuations for various purposes, such as secured lending (red book) company accounts, compulsory purchase, taxation purposes and investment amongst other less frequent requests.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in lease renewal and rent review work, and will liaise with the property management and commercial agency teams to provide expert advise and assistance to their clients.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your application you will need to be a chartered surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) and RICS registered valuer, with a minimum of 2 years recent post APC experience in commercial valuations.

You must be a client facing, commercially minded and results driven surveyor as you will be taking on a fee billing role with expectations of 2-3 x salary annual billings, with bonuses awarded for surpassing fee targets.

you will need to be very familiar with RICS professional standards and have reasonable professional experience of services such as lease renewals and rent reviews. Prior experience of Property management or agency is desirable but not essential.

you will need to be a car user with a valid UK driver's license.


What you'll get in return
In return for your commitment you will be given a salaried role at the business in the region of £45-50K however higher salaries may be agreed for proven fee billers. There will be a car allowance in addition to your salary and a pension scheme.

You will receive 22 days of holiday + bank holidays increasing with years of service, and will be eligible for discretionary bonus based on fees achieved per quarter.
