Electrical CAD / Revit Technician - Nottingham - £25-35k

Your new company

A building services contractor based in Nottingham are looking to appoint an additional member to their in house design team. They offer a design & build / refurbishment service to clients in the retail, commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors. An increasing number of their projects are now required to be completed in Revit as well as AutoCAD - hence the reason for the new vacancy.

Your new role

You will assist the design and estimating teams by producing 'as fit' electrical services drawings / models in 2D and 3D in AutoCAD and Revit software. This will including small power, lighting, controls, security systems, fire alarms, data cabling, cable tray trunking etc for a wide variety of commercial and industrial install projects.

You will help to drive company's CAD / Revit standards, as well as provide training and support to other team members.

This is a new position within the company and has the opportunity to build and grow the CAD department.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 1-2 years experience using Revit software
• AutoCAD experience essential
• Experience creating electrical services drawings
• Range of project experience
• Confident in mentoring other staff members
• Organised and able to manage own workload
