Land Charges officer - Local Authority Building Control Dept.
The Role: Your duties will include.
First point of contact for enquiries
*Compile local land charge searches.
*Keep a record of search requests that arrive on a daily basis
*Gather information from and updating the Land Charges Register
*Conduct detailed research and request information from other council departments
*Register planning charges when answering planning queries
*Use GIS systems and other computerised
*Process fees paid for land charges searches
The successful Applicant will be part of a team that is the first point of contact for members of the public and others generally and particularly when Building Control Officers are not available.
This is an immediate start on a temporary basis but there is also a vacant permanent post that the successful applicant will be able to apply for.
This is inside IR35 and is PAYE or Umbrella.
