Head of Engineering - Technology and Innovation

We all know that technology moves on more and more quickly these days, with new innovations and inventions being developed all over the world all of the time. If you're the sort of person who follows this, using a background in engineering and equipment to stay up to date and abreast of things, then this well-known fast-food chain are looking for you to help them to stay ahead of the curve.

Joining their Innovation Division, you'd be heading up their Equipment and Engineering Technology side, guiding and driving the new technology at the forefront of the restaurant world. This could be in the kitchen at the restaurants or development factory, helping to find new ways to improve productivity, deliver more efficiently, or improve the existing high safety standards. It could be in the guest area to enhance the customer experience through any number of ways, order taking, seating area, comfort and enjoyment. Or it could be with the wider brand, where you can consider the logistics division, packing, delivery, any myriad of areas that involve equipment and technology - always with an eye on sustainability and longevity.

Ideally, you will have a qualification in engineering or project management or similar, and maybe a chartership as well. But ultimately if you have a demonstrable track record in delivering innovation in technology and engineering procedures and equipment, potentially within a food and beverage environment but that isn't necessary, I'd like to hear from you. You can be based anywhere in the UK with UK-Wide travel as needed.

This is for an initial 6 month contract, which can be as a day rate if you would prefer rather than a fixed term contract.
