Assistant Quantity Surveyor | Precast Concrete | East Midlands | £30-45K depending on experience


A leading manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete solutions is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their affluent and successful business on a permanent basis. Working across high risk environments this company provides a range of heavy building materials for the construction industry via various manufacturing units, quarries and plants. This contractor work across a variety of different sectors including student accommodation, hotels, railways and modular build projects.

The turnover of this business is over £200m - with half of this turnover from their standard product ranges across the industry and the other half of the turnover covering their supply and fit side of the business. They work with reputable construction contractors on various projects values £500,000-£25million.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for looking at contract reviews, terms and conditions, dealing with change claim reviews and damages. With a keen eye for detail you will be able to read and understand contracts and be a problem solver.

You will ideally have a commercial approach and have experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor within a similar industry, this is also highly sought after. You will be forward thinking, organised and structured and have the ability to lead a project from start through to completion.
