Permanent Estimator role, Derbyshire, Specialist Contractor, Roads + Highways, Competitive salary

Your new company
You will be working for a national contractor who specialise in the roads and highways surfacing sector. The organisation are going through a period of continued growth and are keen to add a dynamic Estimator to their commercial team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the Commercial manager of the division and taking responsibility for providing fast and accurate responses to enquiries and building relationships with clients. The Estimating element of the role will involve; Identifying potential key relationships with clients and maintaining existing customer base, network and meet with prospective clients and suppliers, take an active role in bid writing and completing PQQ's, liaising with suppliers and contractors to negotiate the best commercial return for the project, review tender results and contract performance to ensure best value for services supplied and taking the lead on framework and schedule of rates pricing.
The role requires an energetic positive approach and it will suit a candidate excellent interpersonal skills that enjoys building rapport with clients.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be a self motivated, outgoing and dedicated individual. You will be able to demonstrate a strong Estimating background, ideally in the roads and highways surfacing sector. You will also have excellent communication skills and IT literacy skills. It is also essential that you hold a full UK driving license.
