You will be working for a thriving and growing civils and infrastructure organisation that have a vacancy for for a Bid Writer. The company have gone from strength to strength securing projects regionally and nationally.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the bid manager in the Nottinghamshire office. You will ideally have highways experience but infrastructure or construction experience may be relevant. The role will include writing submissions, PQQs and tenders and ensuring adequate resources are available to complete the submission, managing resources and ensure all content is in place. Creation of high quality PQQ and bid documents, including writing and editing content. You will have responsibilities for the management of bid document production, including championing best practice in planning and organisation and ensuring compliance with business development process, style and brand guidance. You will make a contribution to development and implementation of the Bid Improvement Plan. Additionally you will be responsible for client presentations, preparing for interviews and organising site visits as required
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have bid writing experience in the highways sector or construction / infrastructure. You will have a full UK driving license and strong written / verbal communication skills.
