Working for a leading Electrical contractor operating both regionally and nationally with a focus on the Social Housing

Your new role
Due to continued growth and a vision to drive the business forward they are now looking for an Estimator to join the commercial team supporting existing business but also new business, where you will be joining an established team

Main duties of the role:

• Estimate work by gathering and studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Calculate costs from materials, labour and time requirements
• Collect and analyse information to resolve discrepancies.
• Present estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information, as well as summarising information and market trends.
• Maintain a cost database
• Attend workshops, forums, reviewing technical publications as well as local networking events in order to maintain a technical knowledge
• Health and Safety conscious, looking at possible risks associated with the role and reporting any issues promptly to support the ongoing safety of self and others.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an Estimator role ideally in electrical

What you'll get in return
Holidays - 22 days per annum plus 8 days bank holiday
Working hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Basic salary - £26,000 up to £38,000, determined on qualifications, experience and skillset.
