Excellent opportunity to join a local authority in Essex as the Environmental Health Officer to focus on Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing Regulation. You will be joining a small and friendly team who deal with a large number of requests across the whole range of environmental health functions.

Your new role
You will be joining their existing multi-skilled team, dealing with public health and well-being and will be involved in public health, nuisance, pollution control, private sector housing enforcement and provide technical advice and support to the Council's Planning Service.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for the role you will hold a degree or diploma in Environmental Health and should be be technically competent in the field of noise. You should also have experience in responding to major planning applications.
