Assistant Site Manager

Permanent Assistant Site Manager role - PLC Housebuilder - Leicester site - up to £35k + package

Your new company
Due to continued expansion a Nottinghamshire based PLC Housebuilder are seeking a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their construction team. The sites will be in the Liecestershire area and will be a mixture of brownfield and greenfield sites. The organisation are 5 star housebuilder and are able to offer a competitive salary and career progression.

Your new role
You will be reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist the Site Manager in managing the development of the site through to completion, ensuring that Programme, Quality and Cost targets are achieved in accordance with the build programme, through the effective management of the Site team and subcontractors.

You will coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme You will also support the Site Manager, in ensuring that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site's workload and resources. You will also have a strong background in customer service.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working in the volume housing sector as an Assistant Site Manager and have demonstrated longevity in your career. You will also have an in depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations. You will be used to working within strict build programmes and hold CSCS. SMSTS, First Aid and Health and Safety Qualifications.
