Building Surveyor, South Wales, Social Housing (Voids), £25.00 per hr, 3 months+, 37 hours a week, start ASAP


Your new organisation
Your new organisation are a South Wales based Social Housing provider who have a number of residential properties in the local area.

Your new role
Due to an increase in work load the Voids team are seeking a Building Surveyor for 3-6 months to clear a backlog of work.

You will be working as a Building Surveyor reporting into the Voids Manager.

Your role will involve cross checking Surveyor inspections and converting them to tender documentation

You will liaise with procurement to identify and successfully procure a voids refurbishment service for a fixed number of voids.

Setting up contract and programme of works for approval and execution

Project manage the group of voids through to completion, monitoring the sub-contracted service and reporting back.

Quality management reporting for each completed void


What you'll need to succeed
You will need access to transport, experience of the above Building Surveying technical skills including Surveys, building pathology, analysing damp defects, producing specifications and schedules of work up to the value of £15,000.

Experience with the above is essential, relevant qualifications in Building Surveying is desirable.

What you'll get in return

You will receive £25 per hour, 37 hours per week, 3-6 month contract, start within 2 weeks.
