Bid Manager

Multinational Builder seeks Experienced Bid Manager to assist in landing of large project in Edinburgh.

Your new company

Our client are a multinational builder with a strong track record of project delivery across the commercial and residential construction sectors. Based on their excellent track record they have been selectively invited to tender for a large residential development in the middle of Edinburgh. This project is with a blue riband client with multiple projects across the UK and our client are confident that with the right people in place they will successfully tender for this project.


Your new role

Our client are seeking an experienced BID manager with a demonstrated record of winning large projects ( up to £50million) in the Scottish market. You will be fully responsible for coordinating and managing the bid process. This will involve creating and managing a bid management plan including timelines, key milestones and responsibilities to deliver bid requirements on time and on budget. You will engage positively with the client and other project stakeholders ensuring that you across all relevant project information and develop and put together a project winning proposal and bid.


What you'll need to succeed

Our client are willing to consider people from a variety of backgrounds from quantity surveying to project management and estimating but the successful candidate will have developed and led successful bid processes previously within the Scottish construction market. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the construction market here and understand a deep level the underlying competitive environment and what it takes to win a profitable project here. Your broad construction background will see you develop innovative bid solutions and has previously given you an edge in winning projects in the past.
