You will be working for a main contractor with multiple facets to their business and a focus on fast-track interior retail fit-outs.

Based in York but with prestigious clients across the whole of the UK every day will be different.

The company are going through a period of growth and are therefore looking for an Assistant Contracts Manager who can grow with them.


Your new role

As Assistant Contracts Manager you will be working alongside the company's contracts managers to ensure all aspects of their projects are running as they should.

With contracts branching across the UK & Ireland you will attend sites as required and report progress and any issues into the contracts manager.

Throughout your time working in the role you will be mentored closely by the contracts managers to ensure you are constantly developing your skill set.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience working for a main contractor in an operational or commercial management role.

A clear career goal and the ability to articulate this in interview will be essential. As a development position within the company your passion for, and drive to succeed within construction will need to very apparent.

You will be a confident communicator and have the ability to adapt to different clients, projects and personnel as required.

The ideal candidate will already hold several relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and either have or be working towards a construction degree.
