Disrepair Officer-Interim Opportunity-Public Sector Organisation-Inside IR35-up to £25 p/h-on site mainly

Your new company
On behalf of a public sector organisation located in South London, Hays Property & Surveying are now looking for a Legal Disrepair Officer, to join their existing team on a long term contractual basis.
This organisation is looking to expand their existing team due to increased workload.
Their offices are based closed to local train and bus stations, making this a very commutable location.

Your new role
In the role of a Legal Disrepair officer, your time will be split between the office (40% of your time) and site visits (60% of your time).
Your duties will include: initial inspections of the properties, reports writing, keeping the tenants informed at all times about the state of their case, explaining the process and procedures.
You will become the main point of contact for tenants, you will be their "person to go to" for the management of their disrepair cases.
This role is very fast paced, and you will be expected to successfully manage multiple cases simultaneously.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you must have very strong housing, contract or complaints management experience, you'll have great interpersonal skills, the ability to successfully liaise with tenants and provide the best service.
You are not expected to have a full knowledge of legal disrepair cases, as you will receive training from experienced officers within the team, therefore it is essential that you demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand Disrepair issues.
