A leading regional civil engineering contractor are looking for a Junior Site Engineer to join their team. This business have an excellent reputation for its operational excellence, delivery and quality of its workmanship.

Your new role
As the Junior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for multiple sites and deliverables including surveying, setting out, up and checking site dimensional controls, establishing systems to record the work completed to form as part of the as-builts, draft and finalise AutoCAD drawings and assist with site safety systems and liaise with the workforce and contractors for setting out information. In addition, assist and prepare sketches for distribution checking accuracy and & quantities and ensuring all teams understand the plant and that all relevant Q&A with the project and you can communicate well ensuring any technical problems are overcome and queries answered. What you'll need to succeed

• ONC/HNC/HND or the equivalent, in a construction related subject
• Suitable construction qualification and training course attendance
• 3+ years of construction experience
• CSCS Card
• SSSTS or above
• A strong civils experience, in particular setting out road line and level, curbs, road drainage, foundations and brickwork.
• A good understanding and able to read/interpret drawings well.
• Be computer software literate and able to use total station/ robotic EDM and equipment's required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of CAD
• have a good level of technical competence
• Have a good understanding of Local Authority and roads
• Have a good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and requirements.
• Good written and oral skills
