Assistant Quantity Surveyor opportunity in Cambridge

Your new company
Your new company is a main contractor who are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for their major works commercial team for a project based in Cambridge.

Your new role
You will be based on site and reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be supporting them in the management of all commercial aspects of their role. Assisting in maximising the commercial results of the project in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets and maximise cash. Assisting in procurement and financial control of sub-contractors. Preparing accurate monthly financial reports to forecast net margin.


What you'll need to succeed

• Post graduate Quantity Surveying experience in a construction contractor environment.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Team player
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.
• Previous experience with NEC forms of contract would be an advantage.
